Monster holiday photo

Another little project I did recently. Monster holiday snaps!
I did 5 prints of this one, 4 good ones and one grainy print. Still figuring out what paper is best to print on, so I tried different ones each time, more or less successfully!

This is the first cut with writing in it...and yes I almost did it the wrong way around. I was thinking about pub signs and came up with this, if I had a pub that's what it would be called.

THE FIRST 'CAT AND WHALE' LINO PRINT

The first lino cut I've done since school I think... So much fun to do, although it did make my whole arm ache and gave me a massive blister on my finger.

Still, it was worth all the pain.

Hoping to do more of these, might invest in some sharper tools first...
